The tutorials below review techniques and tools in the software we use. Just as important as learning how to use the tools (if not more so), is understanding and knowing how to use principles of art and elements of design. This section includes tutorials on color and design, as well as links to other sites with helpful design information.

The Artist's Toolkit has a great section on Elements of Art. Their color wheel page also includes images of famous paintings and how artists have used color schemes in their paintings.
